Right, so we’re going back to Monday the 5th here, so much has happened since, I just haven’t been able to keep up…
Bye Bye mooring…
Wagon waiting before we got over to the hard standing – oops…
Then the flippin’ crane arrives before we were ready & sorted…
Putting the jig-saw crane bits together – they arrived on a separate wagon…!
Bloody hell, get it straight – at this point we were shouting STOP STOP STOP…!
Front strap further forward please…
That’s better…
Right, go for it…
Byeee…
I’d just like to thank all our friends & even family who turned up to watch in a bitter cold wind, with rain & sleet thrown in. It was a tearful goodbye as we set off for the hotel. Meanwhile TT was setting off on her own journey for an overnight stay somewhere. [Apparently they can’t drive a lorry in the dark with a boat plonked on it, which sorta makes sense] But we forgot to ask where was this unknown destination, & the driver forgot to tell us. Hmm…

Well I take it you're no longer 'up in the air, or 'lying on your back' but that you've been duly dunked into the water at Mercia? Great pictures of the lift, can't wait to see the next set for the drop:)
Oh BTW... welcome to south Derbyshire, looking forward to seeing you & Dave some time soon.
Thanks Chris, thanks Kev, it didn't quite go to plan as you've probably seen the pics by now. But never mind its good to be here :-)

At long last ALL the photos on this page have downloaded
I know, there's a hek of a lot of photos there, that's why I kept them smaller than usual in an effort that wouldn't happen. But I knew it was probably a strain for slower connections, just couldn't help myself!
