We got our renewal documents the other day. If I remember rightly it was around the 600+ mark last year. Can’t be bothered digging the current one out of “the office,” (that’s a shelf in a cupboard) to cheque check the exact amount…
So here’s the figures for this year:
Prompt payment rate: £722.94 (We’ll go for that one thanks)
How you get screwed if you forget prompt payment:
Full fee: £803.27
Full fee plus late payment charge, (appropriate date) April Fools day: £953.27
Additional late payment charge: £150
We’ve always been very well behaved & done the “prompt payment” thing, the incentive being:
If you only pay it on time there’s the honour of an extra £80.00 to fork out. I mean there can’t possibly be many companies out there that charge extra for paying on time! I know in theory, this has always been BW’s way of charging us. But only BW could come up such a daft method of paying a bill, & I have to wonder about the legality of it in these days of wording being right & proper…
Expect the number of water gypsy’s to go up at approx the same rate…
