To Bee or not to Bee?

Thanks to all the rainy crappy crazy weather the humble bumble bee is struggling to buzz about & bee keepers are having to feed them with a sugar substitute. Like the rest of us they don’t like the rain, umbrella’s don’t work well for them, so they stay inhive indoors.

The knock on effect is that the plants (which have took a bashing this year) aren’t being pollinated as they should bee.

See here for todays news report.

I can count on one hand the number of bees I’ve seen this year, on the upside though, just 2 wasps. We saw more of both in Germany whilst there for just 10 days.

And it’s not just the bees, it’s all kinds of wildlife that are suffering & getting confused with the seasons. Sadly it seems there’s not much we can do to help.

So it looks like slugs & snails are going to dominate the UK in the future, ugh…

Come to think of it, those who dominate the UK now are a all slugs & snails anyway……………….

Slugs and Snails and Puppy Dog Tail's. That's what the elite are made from.

I like the ring to that... is there more?

They stick together all the time,
With U-turns leaving trails of slime..

I can make up nice poems me,
It just comes natur-ally..

{Available for weddings, funerals, christenings, birthdays, anniversary's, parties, beer festivals, knees ups, music festivals, hog roasts, rock festivals, BBQ's etc}

Not much demand at the moment due to the fact that no-one can afford these things. Or wet weather prevents them from happening in the first place..

Then again it might just be that my poems are crap anyway..
