Yes, this old bat here has been rummaging through old posts & re-publishing them with correct grammar & formatting. I used to post using Blogger, it was crap in the olden days of 5 years ago, & didn’t look very appealing.
In 2010 I started using Windows Live Writer. Which is much easier on the eye with lots of extra options, & without any annoying foibles that don’t work right. (The number of posts I lost into the ether using Bogger was ridiculous). So this resurrection is being carried out using WLW.
Why am I bothering with this? Well because it’s something I’ve occasionally thought about on a lazy day. The main reason being I can add “labels.” Something I never bothered with, so basically it’s a long haul thing, & determination is everything?
I’m not changing the content though, wouldn’t dream of rewriting anything. That was then & now is now. Even so I’ve only managed 2 months out of 3 years to re-jig today. In fact it’s all a bit boring really, but give me a challenge & all that.
However what’s not boring is re-reading our adventures, seems like yesterday. And looking back, that learning curve was tough, I’d forgotten just HOW tough it was.
Doing up a house to sell, & a boat to live on at the same time. Taking it easy wasn’t an option then – still isn’t sometimes. For example the mystery bow thruster problem, which after much scrutiny is still on-going.
During all this time we’ve learned that come rain or shine TT is a true rebel, & we’ve had to accept that. But, to be fair it’s easier to take when you’ve been a true rebel in your youth, & we both have.
